Centricity Portal

Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use Centricity Portal, the online permitting and licensing service that Centricity GIS ("we") provides to city and county governments ("agencies"). By creating an account or using the portal, you agree to them. Each agency's own laws, codes and fee schedules also apply to the permits and licenses you apply for.

Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell the agency or us right away if you think your account has been misused.

Applications and decisions

  • Submitting an application doesn't guarantee approval. The agency reviews and decides every application under its own rules.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, including documents you upload.
  • Status shown in the portal is for convenience. The agency's official records control if they differ.

Fees and payments

  • Fees are set by the agency. Processing fees may apply and are shown before you pay.
  • Payments are handled by the agency's payment processor. Refunds follow the agency's policies.

Notifications

We send emails about your account and applications. Text messages are optional and governed by the Text Messaging Terms; you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Acceptable use

Don't use the portal to submit false information, access accounts or data that aren't yours, interfere with the service, or upload harmful files.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You allow us and the agency to store, process and display it to handle your applications and meet the agency's legal and records obligations, which may include public-records laws.

Availability

We work to keep the portal available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance and outages are announced in the portal where possible.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, the portal is provided "as is", and Centricity GIS isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or decisions made by the agency.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and announce significant changes in the portal. Continuing to use the portal means you accept the updated terms.
